Mr. John W. Moore
" I sure enjoyed talking with you the
other day. The boat has been such a blessing to me for 14 years now - to
be able to speak to the man who built it was an honor.
Enclosed please find the copies of the
"Dreamboat" article from the Sept. 1992 Florida Sportman. I just finished
oiling all of the teak so she looks as good now as in the photos.
My Family (2 boys 15 & 13, Daughter 10)
and I have had so many memorable days on this boat, I can't begin to thank
you enough for building a vessel that is so solid after 30 years."

"We're a small community, us Cuda Craft
owners.... We're a brethren," said David Engle, 53, of St. Petersburg, who
owns a 1975 Cuda Craft that he takes fly-fishing offshore.
Engle said he's fished off Cuda Crafts
since he was a child and finally found one of his own three years ago,
buying one in Key Largo that he has since refurbished.
"They're hard to find," he said. "Most
people that own the older ones don't want to part with them.... It's a
beautiful boat. It just has very classy design lines."

" Saw your add in the June 05 Florida Sportman. As a
note of possible interest I think I ordered the last Cuda Craft built by
your father back in 1973? I kept and fished the boat til 1977. It was
powered with twin 85s, your father was not happy with the set-up (over
powered) but he did it at my insistence. It turned out to be one
hell-of-a-boat. I fished it mostly Bimini and Chub Cay 74, 75, & 76. It
was a great design and built like a tank. The name on the side of the boat
was Pump and Reel, blue topsides w/white hull. Best of luck with the new
boat."

Capt. Bill Anderson
" I have owned 2 Cuda Crafts, one built for me by your
dad ray, who treated me like a life long friend, i did most of the
interior myself as I could not afford the boat without doing much of the
work myself. i even did work in Mr. bonds home as i lived in cutler ridge.
my next Cuda was a custom built and the envy of the Cuda & Seacraft
owners, this boat was destroyed in ANDREW (yes it took a hurricane to hurt
this boat) I don't have a Cuda now but my fishing buddies remember the
boat and all say, wish you still had your Cuda. i still think about Mr. &
Mrs. Bond occasionally and wonder how and what he is doing, fine I hope.
good luck"
Sincerely,
Capt. Bill Anderson

" It is July 20, 2005. Your Dads boat has
performed admirably for my family in the Florida Keys and now on Lake
Michigan. What a Boat! The deck repair was done so well that it looks like
it is the original deck. I hope you realize how much I love that old boat
and how much I appreciate the face-lift you gave her.
Foot for foot, you
cannot get a better, more sea-friendly ride than you can out of this Cuda
Craft," said Ron Barkley, 54, who lives in Glen Ellyn, Ill., a suburb of
Chicago. "She just parts the seas like a hot knife goes through butter."
Barkley owns a 1972
Cuda Craft that he bought from a diving buddy in 1990. He uses the boat to
go diving in the Keys and fishing on Lake Michigan, a versatility he says
he doesn't find often in 19-footers."
