About Us

In 1960 in Miami, Florida, Ray Bond designed and built a 19' boat and took a mold from it. Then & after it was called the 19' Cudacraft.

Del Bond, his son, worked for his father, Ray Bond, constructing the first boat as well as the mold and the productions of boats from that mold.

Now, after 40 years and many requests and with the blessings, help, and endorsement of his Dad, Ray, the 19' is again under construction. The boat is being built in Spring City, Tennessee.

The exact same lamination schedule as the original boat is being used creating one of the strongest boat hulls on the market However, we are using vinyl ester resin in the hull to prevent water logging. The floor and transom, instead of being made with plywood, is being built of PVC foam so there will never be future rot problems from wood. Stringers are made of woven wroving and are foam filled. There is no wood in the boat at all.

The boat is entirely hand laid by fiberglass professionals. There is absolutely no chop in the boat anywhere.

The quality of the boat will never be compromised as Del plans on building no more that 50 boats a year to insure that no detail is overlooked. Del is proud to be able to bring back a boat that has enjoyed a great reputation over many years as he has heard and read many testimonials about the performance and strength of the Cudacraft.
